I’ve been meaning to share these healthy snack ideas with you for a while. They are incredibly delicious, easy to make and require no more than 3 ingredients. Sorry for keeping them all to myself!
1. Chocolate Covered Almonds

This is my husband’s favourite treat. We used to buy chocolate covered almonds all the time until I decided to try making them at home. Turns out it’s quite easy and definitely more budget-friendly.
2.Roasted Dates with Almond Butter :
These baked bananas are really yummy on their own with a cup of tea. If you are in the mood for something more indulgent, add a few scoops of dairy-free ice cream and some fresh berries. Amazing! That’s all I have to say.

5 Healthy 3-Ingredient Snack
Chocolate Covered Almonds (Makes 2 cups)
- ¾ cup vegan chocolate chips
- ½ tbsp coconut oil
- 2 cups raw almonds (roasted will work as well)
Roasted Dates with Almond Butter (Makes 3-4 Servings)
- 8-10 dates
- 8-10 blueberries
- almond butter (any nut or seed butter will work)
Bakes Bananas (Makes 2 Servings)
- 2 bananas
- juice of 1 lime
- cinnamon to taste
Fig and Almond Cake (Makes 8 Servings)
- 1 cup dried figs
- ¼ cup raw almonds
- ½-1 tsp of water
Mango Sorbet (Makes 2 Servings)
- 3 cups frozen mango chunks
- juice of ½ lime
Directions
Chocolate Covered Almonds :
- In a medium pot, bring a few inches of water to a simmer and place a heat proof bowl on top. Make sure that the water doesn't touch the bowl.
- Add chocolate chips, coconut oil and stir until the chocolate is melted.
- Carefully remove the bowl from the pot and stir in the almonds.
- Transfer the almonds to a baking tray covered with parchment paper and spread them around using 2 forks.
- Place the tray in the fridge for about 20 minutes so that the chocolate can firm up.
- Store in fridge to prevent the chocolate from melting.
Roasted Dates with Almond Butter
- Preheat the oven to 163C/325 F and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- Slice the dates down the middle and remove the pit. Place on the baking tray and add a fresh blueberry in the middle.
- Bake for about 15 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Then, add about a tsp of almond butter to each date
Bakes Bananas
- Preheat the oven to 205C/400 F and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- Peel the bananas and cut them in half lengthwise.
- Place the banana slices on a baking tray, drizzle with lime juice and add cinnamon to taste.
- Bake for 10 to 15 minutes.
- You can enjoy these baked bananas as is or serve them with dairy free ice cream, berries and cacao nibs.
Fig and Almond Cake
- In a food processor, combine figs, almonds and ½ tsp of water. Process for 1 minute.
- Check consistency and scrape the sides. If needed, add another ½ tsp of water. Process for another 1-2 minutes until the mixture becomes sticky.
- Press the fig and almond mixture into a small dish, making sure that you’re packing it tightly. Once you're done, put a plate on top and something to add a bit of weight. I usually just use a can.
- Place in the fridge for 1-2 days to set.
- Remove your fig and almond cake from the dish and cut into slices.
Mango Sorbet
- Place frozen mango and lime juice in a blender or food processor and blend until smooth.
- Serve as is if you prefer soft texture. Alternatively, place the sorbet in the freezer for a couple of hours to harden.read more

Raw nuts but more specifically almonds are delicious treats that can really pay off tips for you. Away from being high in protein, almonds also contain good fats. These types of fats help to purify your blood by clearing out dangerous fats.
In all honesty eating right does not have to be hard. But you'll have to make some veritably important and necessary comprises in order to make progress and eventually achieve your pretensions.
